From the south garden parking lot there are approximately 5 miles of trails for mountain biking hiking or horseback riding. Start at the main parking lot for easy concrete foot paths through the heart of the red rock formations.
After you have walked the area the next pullout is just around the corner.
Garden of the gods parking. The main parking lot in the north end of the park is the best place to park in order to enjoy the central garden area. Please carpool as parking at the ranch is limited. Street parking is available on redmesa road.

Overnight parking is allowed at backpacker s parking lot in the garden of the gods recreation area and at hitching post trailhead along gape hollow road on the west side of garden of the gods wilderness. Additional parking is available at the garden of the gods trading post on the south side of the park and in designated lots throughout the park. The shuttle fleet is comprised of two 14 passenger vans that will complete a four stop loop at the parking lot at rock ledge ranch historic site the garden of the gods visitor nature center and the intersection of gateway road and juniper way loop which connects to a trail into the central garden zone.
